arrived back to the promised land from the wildnerness last night, my dad even let me drive his car, that has never happened before, the lord is working miracles in this land!
Spent some time with my sister and KING DING! organising schedules for the Gathering! (www.thegathering-sbc.blogspot.com)
Comming away after a few glasses of wine my sister falling asleep and in short in depth conversation with the dingster i just felt humbled!
To hear what God was doing in the lives of others
Understanding that I dont always have all the answers
To know that God is totally in control, and beyond my control
And that Ding is trully a exciting creative man of God that I trully admire, Adam thankyou your a legend!
Just some thoughts, hope your all well
Colin
Thanks to Jo and Connor for my transportation to Glasgow airport and for all the fun and games on the way there! U guys are great thanks! Love Jeffie!

Christians Baptisms and technology
Ok so went to church on Sunday night (no actually i did) in Larbert turned up and it was a baptism! and i thought rather cool niceone!
My good friend Rev KJ Bleakley former Ulsterman is the minister there. Great to see all the family there and to see what God is doing in the lives of people n Larbert. We heard an amazing testimony from the women whos was getting baptised about how God never let her go and constantly pursued her until she finally let him in and her testimony was of how the Jesus had totally transformed her life
Anyhows she was baptised in one of the deepest baptismal pools in Scotland I kid you not! Just wish i had some photos! Put it like this is would need arm bands and a rubber ring just to get me in that pool due to the fear of drowning.
So getting to my point... What amazes me everywhere i go, is how mental christians are when it comes to baptisms and technology!
They are desperate to make sure every sees it, via vidoe links on camcorders and hear whats going on... here it comes. So they get a mic on a boom stand and place it near to the people in the baptismal pool as possible, I reckon some people would just send them in with a radio mic at times.
Sunday night I was sitting watching this baptism in pure fear for the women who had just testified to the lord transforming her life and my friend Ken who is the minister who was baptising he.
The mic they had placed on this boom stand dangled over the baptism pool into the centre where the two where to pic up what they were saying and praying, boy i was praying!
My fear for their lives grew! In case your not aware Live microphones and water dont really go together that well!! Unless your planning a one way ticket to meet your maker!
Through prayer and intercession from the back the microphone stayed peacefully on its boom stand and the baptism went through without a glitch and was a great night for every one there.
I dont think anyone else apart from Kerry sitting beside me was aware of the potential risk had that microphone decide it too needed baptised!
Just a word, be careful O chrisitans!
Christians, Baptisms and technology mental!
Keep it Real
